I’ve found that Zul’jin gets queued during prime time on most nights, so last night when it was busy, I poked around looking for a server that wasn’t brand spanking new and full of players all below lvl 40, but it turns out I settled in a new realm which didn’t seem to have buckets and buckets of competition at the low levels at least. I’ve selected Sen’jin for my secondary character.

I used to have a secondary on Silvermoon, she was a Night Elf Rogue, but for the 10 levels of her I played, I really didn’t get to “like” Rogue very much. I mean, I didn’t outright hate it, but it didn’t give me much gratification, either. I deleted that character a couple of days ago because I didn’t really find any motivation to play her.

While playing around with the Census+ add-on for World of Warcraft over the past week, I’ve taken the opportunity to start many different characters on different Realms, using different races and different classes as much as I could. Then, as I was letting Census+ gather information about who was logged in to that realm and faction at that time, I played the brand-new characters and tried out their quests, home areas, racial and class abilities.

There are some classes I need to play around with some more to get more of a “newbie level” feel of them even, but I found that I enjoy Mage and Warlock enough that I selected Dwarf Mage as my new secondary Valdesta who lives over in Sen’jin now. Of the characters I’ve played, Undead seems to be my least favorite, no matter what class she’s in.

Valdesta over on Sen’jin isn’t “big” enough to have a profile showing on the Warcraft Realms Census site, but when she is, I’ll be sure to post a link.
